Country guide
Ireland is an English-speaking member of the European Union with a large presence of technology, pharmaceutical and medical device employers. For Kerala students in computer science, pharmacy, biotechnology and business, this makes the combination of a one-year master's and the graduate work route attractive. Universities and technological universities are smaller than their UK counterparts, and Dublin, Cork and Galway all have growing Indian communities.
Computer science and data analytics, pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences, business analytics and MBA, engineering, and nursing and healthcare programmes are the most requested.
Tuition for master's programmes is approximately ₹12–25 lakh per year, and living costs approximately ₹10–14 lakh per year, with Dublin the most expensive city. Accommodation in Dublin can be difficult to secure, so we advise early planning. Figures are indicative and verified in counselling.
Students from India apply for a long-stay study visa after receiving an offer and paying the required fees. The Third Level Graduate Programme currently allows graduates to remain and seek work for a period after completing their degree. AceLogic provides documentation guidance; visa decisions rest with the Irish authorities.
