About
Mangalore University was established in 1980 and its campus at Mangalagangothri, Konaje, lies about 20 kilometres from the city centre on a large hilltop site. As a state university, it runs postgraduate departments in sciences, humanities, commerce and management on campus, and its degrees are awarded to students at affiliated colleges across the coastal districts.
For most Kerala students, Mangalore University is relevant in two ways: postgraduate programmes such as M.Sc, MA, M.Com, MBA and MCA offered in the university departments, and undergraduate degrees at affiliated colleges in Mangaluru. Admission to campus programmes is merit-based through the university's own application process, with entrance tests for some programmes.
We explain which programmes are run on campus and which through affiliated colleges, review your eligibility, guide you through the application and documents, and follow up until a decision is issued.
