About
Anna University was established in 1978 and is headquartered at Guindy in central Chennai. Its university departments and constituent colleges include the College of Engineering, Guindy (founded 1794), the Alagappa College of Technology, the Madras Institute of Technology at Chromepet and the School of Architecture and Planning. It also affiliates a large number of engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu.
Programmes at the university campuses include B.E. and B.Tech across engineering branches, M.E. and M.Tech, MBA and MCA. Admission to B.E. and B.Tech is through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling based on Plus Two marks, with a limited number of seats available to students from other states; postgraduate admission is through TANCET and national examinations as applicable.
We explain the admission routes realistically available to Kerala students, review your eligibility, guide you through the application and documents, and follow up with the university until a decision is issued.
How AceLogic helps
Guidance is free for the first session. Application fees, if any, are charged by the institution. Admission decisions rest with the institution.
A counsellor reviews your Plus Two or degree marks against this institution's current eligibility rules and entrance-test requirements.
We map the programmes here that fit your interests and budget, alongside comparable options elsewhere, so the decision is informed.
We prepare the checklist, review each document and submit the application with you before the institution's deadline.
We track the application, help with fee and hostel formalities where applicable, and stay in touch until you have joined.
