About
SSN College of Engineering was founded in 1996 by the Shiv Nadar Foundation and is affiliated to Anna University with autonomous status. The campus at Kalavakkam on Rajiv Gandhi Salai (OMR) is residential, with hostels and well-equipped laboratories, and is now part of the wider Shiv Nadar University Chennai initiative.
The college offers B.E. and B.Tech programmes in computer science, information technology, electronics and communication, electrical, mechanical, civil, chemical and biomedical engineering, along with M.E. programmes and research degrees. Admission to B.E. and B.Tech for most seats is through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling, with a management quota as permitted by regulations.
